Philippines broadcaster ABS-CBN Corp. has secured a $10 million federal consent judgment against a copyright and trademark infringer as an early victory in a broader court campaign against Internet pirates.

U.S. District Judge Anna Brown of Oregon approved the judgment including damages against defendant Jeffrey Ashby on Friday. The settlement includes a permanent injunction barring Ashby from a variety of activities involving ABS-CBN’s works.
