Sidley Austin has hired the former Beijing office head of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Kefei Li joined the Chicago-based firm’s Beijing office this week. He typically advises Chinese companies on capital markets deals, especially initial public offerings in Hong Kong and the U.S. He has advised on Chinese online car dealer Autohome Inc.’s $410 million rights issue and $133 million IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, as well as China Shengmu Organic Milk Ltd.’s $136 million IPO in Hong Kong.
