In the upcoming criminal trial of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s executives, Manhattan prosecutors have signaled that they intend to lean on testimony from the firm’s former employees, in particular former finance director Francis Canellas.
Meanwhile, defense attorneys are seeking to prohibit hearsay from the testimony of cooperators and to bar other information, including one defendant’s family ties to an organized crime figure (See Motion).
