McKenna Long & Aldridge and Dentons finally announced Wednesday that the two firms’ partnerships have approved a merger, but it’s not clear yet which lawyers from McKenna will be joining Dentons.
McKenna’s chairman, Jeff Haidet, said the firms have not yet set a date for the deal to take effect. “It will be sometime this summer,” he said, explaining that there is still work to be done vetting conflicts and integrating the firms’ back office operations. “We hope to do it as soon as possible.”
