Midmarket U.K. law firms are topping the charts in favorability rankings, surpassing elite Magic Circle firms in an annual survey of more than 350 U.K. general counsel.
New data published in May by legal market research provider Acritas ranks Eversheds as the top-rated firm on the U.K. brand index, with Pinsent Masons following close behind. Though Magic Circle firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Linklaters, and Clifford Chance fill the next three rankings, DLA Piper claims the sixth spot, ahead of Slaughter and May (no. 7), Herbert Smith Freehills (no. 8) and Allen & Overy (no. 9).
