Like many whistleblowers, Kevin Wallace paid a heavy price when he went public with what he perceived was a wrongdoing carried out in his place of employment. Wallace, a former vice president of Tesoro Corporation, alleges that he was axed by his employer for reporting suspected fraudulent accounting practices used by the company’s management and board of directors.
