Ubiquiti Networks, a manufacturer of networking technology for service providers and enterprises, has revealed that cyberthieves stole $46.7 million through an e-mail scam.
According to a recent document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the fraud involved an “employee impersonation and fraudulent requests from an outside entity targeting the company’s finance department.”
