Yet another law firm is poised to switch from a two-tier partnership to a so-called all-equity model.
Earlier this week, Above the Law published an internal memo from Baker & Hostetler informing partners that such a change was in the works, subject to approval by two-thirds of the partnership in a scheduled vote next month. Chairman R. Steven Kestner said in the memo that the transition would “strengthen our culture by having all partners invested in the success of the firm.”
