The OnRamp Fellowship—which helps women return to Big Law after taking time away—has extended its reach to a total of 25 law firms. In the past few months, six new firms have signed on: Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom; Morrison & Foerster; Loeb & Loeb; Stoel Rives; Wiley Rein and Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker. Also joining the program are Amazon.com Inc.’s in-house legal department and the compliance group at Barclays PLC.

That law firms are leading the way for OnRamp’s expansion into additional areas like legal departments and financial services is significant because it shows that “law firms are more innovative than everyone says they are,” said OnRamp founder and chief executive officer Caren Ulrich Stacy.
