Conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices on Wednesday renewed their long-running disdain for class actions in the first of three cases the court will hear on the topic this term.
During arguments in Campbell-Ewald v. Gomez, Justice Samuel Alito Jr. suggested that the case at issue is one where “the class action attorneys are going to get a lot and the members of the class are going to get virtually nothing.”
