Attorney Barry Silver is suing the Palm Beach School District, demanding it rethink its approach to science, religion and specifically Islam, claiming the Quran advocates violence.
Silver, who is a rabbi and former state representative, claimed Palm Beach County public schools and textbooks “provide false, misleading and dangerous information” about Islam, lie about the motives behind the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and pander to religious interests by not teaching the theory of evolution.
