DLA Piper saw its revenue surpass $2.5 billion for the first time in 2015, but its topline gains were offset by a sharp decline in profits.

DLA’s gross revenue rose 2.5 percent in the last fiscal year, to a new high of $2.54 billion, while average revenue per lawyer inched up 0.7 percent, to $675,000. The firm’s net income fell 9.2 percent, to $605.5 million, however, and its profit margin slumped three percentage points, to 24 percent.
