Despite the storms engulfing Greater China’s markets in recent months, Eversheds is looking to hire a capital markets team in Beijing to add to its exiting practice capabilities in Asia.

Trading on China’s stock markets was suspended in January following a 7 percent fall and, while such dramatic slumps have eased off in recent weeks, growth in China is forecast to be between 6 percent and 7 percent this year, which is weak by recent historic standards.
