SAN FRANCISCO — The man who claims Uber CEO Travis Kalanick stole his idea for using mobile technology to connect drivers and passengers is making a last-ditch effort to show why the clock has not run out on his lawsuit.
Kevin Halpern, founder of the now-defunct Celluride Wireless Inc., sued Uber Technologies Inc. last May for roughly $1 billion over the alleged misappropriation of his trade secrets.
