Nixon Peabody CWL, the Am Law 100 firm’s Hong Kong office, has recruited a new corporate partner.
Jonathan Lee was most recently counsel at King & Wood Mallesons where he advises on China-related corporate finance deals and mergers and acquisitions. Last year, he represented Shanghai-based Fosun International Ltd. on a $1.2 billion share placement in Hong Kong. In 2012, Lee also advised the now-defunct Chinese forestry company Sino-Forest Corp. on restructuring $1.8 billion worth of outstanding notes.
