Indian firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has taken legal action against its former Chennai office head over allegations relating to confidentiality and noncompete clauses.

The allegations, filed on Oct. 13, follow the resignations of Chennai partner Dorothy Thomas and 11 other employees who joined rival firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. this month.
