A New Jersey appeals court has ruled that a well-known drag-racing strip in Old Bridge may continue to challenge a religious group’s attempt to build a residential and worship center next door.
The court ruled the challenge can continue even though a federal judge previously entered a consent decree saying the town planning board’s decision to block the development violated the group’s religious freedoms.
