Kirkland & Ellis has hired a new corporate partner in Shanghai.
Paula Liu joins from Clifford Chance, where she was counsel advising on mergers and acquisitions—especially those involving private equity funds. Last year she advised The Coca-Cola Co. on a $1.4 billion transaction with COFCO and The Swire Group that resulted in a reorganization of the beverage maker’s bottling operations in China.
