CMS is aiming to leverage off its U.K. expansion and scale up in Asia once it has bedded down its mergers with Nabarro and Olswang, according to the firm’s management.

Speaking to Legal Week, senior partner and chair of the U.K. board Penelope Warne said the current political instability in the U.S. meant Asia would likely be the immediate focus for investment, despite the firm’s long-held ambitions for U.S. expansion.
