At EDC, Jones oversees a legal department of 13 and acts as GC to both the Economic Development Corporation and the Industrial Development Agency. The entities cooperate on New York City development, issuing bonds and handling city real estate transactions. EDC is also helping on the plans to redesign the World Trade Center site.

Yet even as Jones writes covenants into the sales contracts for New York real estate, she’s drawing on a diverse career in which she’s worked on private ligitation and executed or supervised negotiations for cable TV contracts and marine sanctuaries.
