It’s an hour before game time on a pristine Sunday afternoon, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ General Counsel Roxanne R. Kosarzycki strolls the sidelines of Raymond James Stadium as bright white clouds roll through the azure sky along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Above her in the stands, more than 65,000 of the Buccaneers’ faithful — decked out in red and black, wearing face paint and beads — stream into the stadium for the team’s fourth game of the season.

The visiting Detroit Lions run a few practice plays while coaches, cameramen, referees and team executives loiter on the Buccaneers sideline. Kosarzycki greets Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Griese, whose son Brian will take the helm for the Buccaneers in today’s game. Moments later, the Bucs start their own practice drills to the accompaniment of a rising cheer from the crowd. Excitement is high because the Las Vegas odds makers have predicted that today the Bucs will extend their undefeated season to four straight.
