E-discovery services provider Fios Inc. is set to unveil enhancements to its evidence collection and analysis technologies at the annual LegalTech tradeshow, underway this week in New York (Jan 30-Feb 1). Packaged as the Fios Collection Manager, these enhancements are designed to help legal and IT teams quickly and efficiently navigate the evidence-collection process.
Topping the list of new features is the Collection Manager’s ability to gather evidence in encrypted form via the Internet. “This is a significant enhancement to our capabilities for enabling remote collection,” Fios’ director of product management, Brad Harris, says. “The Internet connection is easy to deploy, and it extends our services directly to desktops and remote laptops.”
