Kenneth Rice, a top trader at Enron Corp., provided blistering testimony Tuesday against Jeffrey Skilling, saying the ex-CEO dismissed his concerns about the energy giant’s “goofy” partnership, set unreasonably high earnings targets for its new broadband unit and pushed him to meet those targets through any means without tarnishing Enron’s stock.

Rice, 47, took the stand Tuesday as the government’s second witness in the fraud and conspiracy trial of Skilling and Enron founder Kenneth Lay.
