Reed Smith is doing its best to make good on the firm’s plan to enter the Chicago market. The Pittsburgh-based firm has entered into an agreement in principle with 140-attorney, Chicago-based Sachnoff & Weaver to combine the firms’ practices.
The combination is subject to a vote by both firms’ partnerships, and, if approved, would go into effect on March 1.
