Holland & Knight on Thursday joined the list of firms that this week bumped starting associate pay $15,000 to $130,000 in Atlanta.

The move came in an announcement saying the firm’s 372 associates around the country would get more money. Holland & Knight matched new starting salaries for some big firms in New York ($160,000) and Washington, D.C. ($145,000). It also raised starting pay in Chicago from $125,000 to $145,000 a year, and in Los Angeles and San Francisco, from $135,000 to $145,000.
