You can’t buy a cup of coffee today, or walk through an airport, without tripping over a laptop power cord. These folks are taking advantage of the glorious technology called wireless fidelity, better known as WiFi.
WiFi hotspots sizzle just about everywhere. Some are free, others require a fee, through companies such as T-Mobile USA Inc. or Boingo Wireless Inc.. The bottom line is that WiFi has radically unchained the way most of us work, allowing us to sit on our couch at home, or sip a cappuccino in a coffee shop.
