Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has succeeded in snagging a corporate partner from Latham & Watkins, a firm known for its tight grip on its partnership.
David Hernand had worked at Latham since 1994, making partner in the late 1990s and leaving for a stint at technology incubator Idealab.
