A groundswell of protests from the family of Anne Marie Fahey and some members of the legal community could stop the Delaware State Bar Association from giving its Professional Conduct Award to Henry R. Herndon Jr. as announced.
Herndon could forfeit the honor because of a 19-year-old episode when he was the managing partner at Morris James Hitchens & Williams and Thomas J. Capano was a young associate there with plans to intimidate and possibly harm a woman who was spurning him.
