Fenwick & West is so nice it hurts.
At least Intuit Inc.’s Scott Cook seemed to think so at a “thank you” bash the firm threw for about 100 of its top clients earlier this spring. As Fenwick chairman Gordon “Gordy” Davidson tried to lead a toast at the $40,000 event, Cook felt compelled to grab the microphone and turn the celebration on its head.
