When “60 Minutes” focused on campaign contributions to Texas Supreme Court justices last November, correspondent Mike Wallace made a pointed observation about one member of the court.
“But while the chief justice, Tom Phillips, calls for reform,” Wallace said, “he also acknowledges he has raised more money in campaign contributions than any Supreme Court judge in Texas history.” Wallace said.
