A cluster of attorneys around the country are mounting a legal assault on the nation’s $206 billion tobacco settlement, claiming it violates antitrust laws.
The attorneys, who have brought one suit so far in Pennsylvania federal court and are threatening to bring two more in California, are filing the suits on behalf of cigarette distributors.
