On the heels of receiving a 10-year federal prison sentence, Cali cartel operative Eddy Martinez has sued his lawyer.

Although acquitted on drug charges, Martinez was convicted on racketeering conspiracy and money laundering charges in a 1997 trial that marked a major effort by prosecutors to cripple the drug cartel and the lawyers that represented its top figures.
