Big five accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP filed suit to block a former partner’s bid to have an $8.5 million dispute decided by an arbitrator.
In a suit filed Aug. 3 in Chancery Court, the company contends Jay B. Goldman resigned his partnership in June 1997 and then failed to ask an arbitrator to decide whether he’d been forced out within the 30-day time period detailed in the partnership agreement.
