When lawyers gather to assess the state of the profession, deterioratingstandards are often decried and a call for higher ethical conduct issued.
So it was at the American Bar Association annual meeting held here inrecent days when, in the debate over multidisciplinary practices for example,a reaffirmation of core professional values triumphed over a move somefeared would dilute them.
