Life may smell of roses for the sultan of Brunei, who has amassed $30 billion and is the world’s wealthiest head of state, according to Forbes magazine. But for brother Prince Jefri, life is not quite so sweet.

Jefri, his son Prince Hakeem and Hakeem’s primary assistant Haji Junaidi have failed in an effort to wriggle out of a $21 million contract dispute with Bijan Fragrances Inc.
