Lawyers representing growers whose crops were damaged or destroyed by a DuPont fungicide are raising the stakes yet again in the years-long litigation against the chemical giant.

New evidence has surfaced that DuPont knew the fungicide Benlate 50 DF was a faulty product, but concealed that information, growers’ lawyers say in an April 1 pleading filed in a Miami-Dade Circuit Court case.
