The trial of an age discrimination suit against AmericanHome Products began Tuesday in Superior Court in Morristown, withthe plaintiff’s lawyer promising to call the company’s chiefexecutive officer as a witness to prove there is a from the toppolicy of firing anyone over 65.
“All Al Jablonski did was turn 65,” said the plaintiff’sattorney, Mark Falk, during opening arguments in Jablonski v.American Home Products, MRS-L-1916-95. “But that is not a goodthing for your career at American Home Products.”
