The U.S. Marshal’s Service and the FBI areinvestigating the source of an anonymous letter sentto D.C. federal court leaders Sept. 24. The letterwarns of impending violence by disgruntled employeesin the federal probation office.

The letter, received by Chief Judge Norma HollowayJohnson and others, put the courthouse on notice that”potential acts of violence within our building areboth clear and present.”
