After an eight-day trial behind locked doors, an eight-member federal jury on Oct. 13 found that Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrre & Dengre L.L.P. did not commit malpractice by failing to advise Lifemark Hospitals Inc. to reinscribe a collateral mortgage, according to the court’s jury instructions, the only document in the case thus far made public.
