Florida’s war over sweeping changes in the civil justice system will soon move onto a new battleground, and combatants already are suited up.

Opponents of the massive lawsuit limitation package passed by the Legislature earlier this year, led by the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, plan to file their long-expected suit challenging the constitutionality of the so-called tort reforms in the next month.
