LOS ANGELES — A chance to invest alongside Midas-handed Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan and the mayor’s inner circle would be a pipe dream for most people, but Paul Coady says he contracted for the right.
Now a partner in the L.A. office of Dallas’ Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, Coady alleges the mayor’s old law firm breached that contract and cost him more than $1 million.
