Musician, composer, and television personality John Tesh filed suit Jan. 19 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against a Nevada corporation, its officers, and one hundred unnamed defendants for trademark infringement and cybersquatting (John Tesh v. Celebsites Inc., C.D. Calif., 00-00603ABC (RZx), filed 1/19/00).

Tesh owns and operates his own official Web site, “Tesh.com.” The defendants, Celebsites, a Nevada corporation, and its officers operate a celebrity and entertainment Web site, “Celebsites.com,” which acts as host to Web sites for celebrities. In addition, the site also offers advertising, contests, reports, and news.
