Unhappy with the sprayed-on siding applied to their house, Alan and Linda Townsend launched a Web site where they and other unsatisfied customers could vent their frustration. Now, the product's manufacturer has slapped the couple with a lawsuit, alleging their Web site infringes on the company's trademarks, defames its product and intentionally misleads customers. The federal case may help shape the boundaries of online speech, say Internet law experts.
