A federal grand jury in Miami on Tuesday indicted so-called “dirty bomber” Jose Padilla and four additional defendants with conspiracy to murder U.S. nationals and providing material support to terrorists as part of a North American terrorist support cell.
Padilla had been held by the U.S. military without charges as an enemy combatant for more than three years.
