President Bush last Wednesday acted to fill four vacancies on the U.S. District Court and one on the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Renee Bumb was named for a seat in Camden, N.J., while U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan Wigenton, U.S. Department of Justice official Noel Hillman and Peter Sheridan, the former executive director of the Republican State Committee, were nominated for three district court seats in Newark, N.J.
