A third of the Am Law 100 Firms report average partner compensation of more than $1 million on our Compensation�All Partners chart, which presents the average compensation for firms’ entire partnership pools. Of the 33 firms whose partners earned more than $1 million, 22 are based in New York. Of the eight whose partners made more than $2 million, six are single-tier partnerships.
Because it takes both equity and nonequity partners into account, this chart is the most complete assessment of partner pay for the Am Law 100. Numbers on this chart are rounded to the nearest $5,000. Firms that tied are listed alphabetically.
