According to the rhetoric from certain liberal groups, the vast majority of President George W. Bush’s nominees to federal appellate courts are anti-individual rights, anti-civil rights and certainly anti-prisoner rights. Whether those who propagate such rhetoric truly believe it is open to question, but I always enjoy coming across new federal appellate court rulings that squarely contradict those overheated expressions of concern.
