The U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee has endorsed the nominations of Philip Moeller and Jon Wellinghoff to serve on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

By a voice vote, the panel unanimously agreed Wednesday to advance the nominees to a confirmation vote by the full Senate. Their confirmations may be packaged into one vote expected to occur before the Senate recesses at the end of next week.
