For the $16 billion merger between Exelon Corp. and Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. to get past the Department of Justice, the two utilities must divest six electricity generating plants in the mid-Atlantic U.S.
The Justice Department on Thursday unveiled its terms in a lawsuit to block the deal and a proposed settlement agreement filed concurrently in federal district court in Washington. A federal judge must now approve the settlement.
