When it comes to options backdating, Mercury Interactive Corp. will hold off at least six months from pursuing civil claims against its independent auditors at the time, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The reason? According to a report of the company’s special litigation committee, Mercury — which obtained the stay in Santa Clara County Superior Court earlier this month — is currently restating its financials and says that it needs to keep a good relationship with PWC during this crucial time.
